iGaming Product Jobs

Product managers in iGaming own roadmaps for platforms, sportsbooks and casino products, working between engineering, design, commercial and compliance. The compliance part is what makes it different from product management elsewhere: a feature that works beautifully can still be illegal in three of your markets, and finding that out late is expensive.

Product owners run delivery inside squads and sit closest to engineering. Product managers own the why and the what across a longer horizon. Heads of product own the portfolio and usually the commercial outcome attached to it. Platform product roles are the most commonly advertised of the three, covering wallet, bonusing, account management and the integrations that everything else depends on.

Roles are listed in Malta and across Europe, and product is one of the functions where operators hire from fintech and e-commerce as readily as from within the industry.

Salary ranges: EUR 32,000 to 42,000 for product owners at entry level, 42,000 to 58,000 at mid-level, and 58,000 to 75,000 for senior product managers and heads of product. Director and VP roles at major operators exceed 80,000.

Key skills: Discovery and prioritisation, comfort with data, and the communication to hold a line between engineering capacity and commercial pressure. Understanding of how licensing constraints shape what can ship is a genuine differentiator.
