Data teams in iGaming work with unusually rich behavioural data and unusually direct consequences. The same pipelines that measure campaign performance also feed responsible gaming risk models and regulatory reporting, so accuracy is not just an analytical concern.

Data analysts work alongside commercial, marketing and product teams on player segmentation, cohort performance and campaign measurement. Business analysts sit closer to process and requirements, translating between commercial teams and engineering. BI developers build the reporting layer everyone else depends on. Data engineers own the pipelines and warehouses. Data scientists build the predictive work: churn, lifetime value, bonus abuse and risk scoring.

Salary ranges: EUR 28,000 to 38,000 at junior level, 38,000 to 55,000 at mid-level, and 55,000 to 72,000 for senior roles and team leads.

Key skills: SQL underpins every role here. Python or R for modelling. BI tooling such as Tableau, Looker or Power BI, and cloud warehouses like BigQuery or Snowflake. Knowing what GGR, NGR and lifetime value actually mean in this industry shortens your ramp-up considerably.
