Data teams power decision-making across Malta's iGaming operators — from player segmentation and fraud detection to real-time trading analytics and regulatory reporting. Roles include data analysts, BI developers, data engineers and data scientists.

Data analysts work closely with commercial, marketing and product teams to surface insights from player behaviour data. BI developers build dashboards and reporting infrastructure. Data engineers design the pipelines and warehouses that make it all possible. Data scientists develop predictive models for churn, player lifetime value and risk scoring.

Salary ranges: €28,000–€38,000 at junior level, €38,000–€55,000 at mid-level, and €55,000–€72,000 for senior roles and team leads.

Key skills: SQL is foundational across all data roles. Python or R for analysis and modelling. Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI), cloud data platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift) and ETL frameworks. Domain knowledge of gaming metrics (GGR, NGR, LTV, churn) is a strong advantage.
