SEO Executive

As an SEO Executive, you will be the multi-faceted engine driving our international organic growth. Reporting directly to the Head of SEO, you will manage a balanced portfolio of responsibilities across the three pillars of SEO - On-Page, Off-Page, and Technical - while maintaining a sharp focus on Data Analysis.

You will be responsible for orchestrating projects and ensuring that our strategies are executed effectively across our markets. We are looking for a candidate who is highly organized, understands how to manage moving parts, and knows how to prioritize high-impact tasks over "busy work."

Responsibilities: 

• The Three Pillars: Execute a 360-degree SEO strategy by optimizing on-page content, coordinating off-page authority building, and identifying technical improvements.
• Data & Reporting: Monitor and analyze organic traffic and keyword rankings. You won't just report numbers; you’ll explain the "why" behind the trends and provide actionable insights.
• Content Strategy: Translate SEO strategy into detailed content briefs for writers, acting as the native-language gatekeeper for quality and search intent alignment.
• Technical Health: Assist in regular site audits using Screaming Frog. Work with the tech team to ensure schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and indexing issues are prioritized.
• Competitive Intelligence: Keep a pulse on the SEO landscape to reverse-engineer competitor growth tactics and stay ahead of algorithm shifts.
• Outreach Coordination: Manage relationships with external partners and agencies to keep our off-site activities and backlink profile on schedule.

Requirements:

• Linguistic Proficiency: Native-level fluency in Dutch, Finnish, or Portuguese, plus professional English proficiency for internal collaboration.
• SEO Fundamentals: 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience. You should be equally comfortable discussing metadata, backlink profiles, and crawl budgets.
• Toolbox Mastery: Experience with GA4, Google Search Console, and Screaming Frog. Proficiency in Ahrefs, Semrush, Wincher, or similar tools.
• Analytical Mind: You enjoy data analysis and have a natural curiosity for finding patterns and explanations for performance shifts.
• Search Evolution: A solid understanding of how Generative AI and AI-driven search results (GEO) are changing the way users find information.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with content and tech teams.
