The Senior Frontend Developer shall report to the Kansino Team Lead.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain web applications using React, Next.js, and state management libraries like Redux or Zustand.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable front-end solutions.
  • Foster a collaborative, low-ego environment where mentorship and collective success are prioritized over individual 'hero coding'.
  • Integrate with RESTful APIs and GraphQL backends.
  • Ensure application quality through unit and integration testing (Jest, Jasmine, Karma).
  • Debug, profile, and optimize applications for performance across modern browsers.
  • Contribute to deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments.
  • Take ownership of projects, features, share knowledge, and mentor junior developers.
  • Take part in Code reviews
  • Compile documentation when necessary

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of React and a strong grasp of Next.js.
  • Comfort with state management (such as Redux or Zustand).
  • Strong skills in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS/Sass/LESS.
  • Experience working with APIs and real-time data (WebSockets).
  • A problem-solver mindset with a passion for clean, scalable architecture.
  • Strong communication skills in English and the ability to thrive in agile teams.

Nice to have:

  • A Computer Science or related degree.
  • Experience building iGaming applications.
  • Hands-on with CI Pipelines and Vercel. 
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence for agile teamwork.
