PSP Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Payment Service Provider (PSP) Specialist to join our dynamic team in Malta. This role is critical to ensuring seamless payment integrations and optimizing the payment processing system to meet our growing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure PSP performance, optimising traffic flows for maximum efficiency
• Manage deposit and withdrawal payment processes, improving them when needed
• Conduct daily audit and reconciliations with PSPs and internal systems
• Collaborate with AML & Compliance to ensure adherence to regulations
• Monitor transactions for potential fraud or unusual activity
• Support customer service teams with payment- and KYC-related inquiries and escalations
• Provide guidance on payment processes to improve the overall customer experience

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of payment methods, gateways, transaction execution, and reconciliation processes
• Familiarity with PSPs, banking systems, fintech solutions, and KYC/AML tools
• Knowledge of compliance regulations is a strong advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle high transaction volumes
• Strong customer-service mindset and problem-resolution skills
• Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments
• High level of integrity and professionalism, especially when handling sensitive financial data
• English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher
