The Role:
We’re looking for a knowledgeable and driven Compliance Officer to join Ventures Lab as part of a collaborative team of five.In this role, you’ll play a critical part in supporting compliance operations across multiple markets. From producing regular reports and handling complex investigations to reviewing escalations and advising on regulatory matters, you’ll help ensure our business operates with integrity and in line with evolving requirements.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including Customer Services, CRM, VIP, Product, and IT, contributing to a strong compliance culture while supporting the development and maintenance of our compliance framework across different jurisdictions.
This role is ideal for someone with a sharp analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and a solid understanding of AML, Responsible Gaming, and GDPR principles. You’ll be comfortable managing competing priorities, investigating issues thoroughly, and communicating clearly across teams.

Responsibilities:
To ensure the company’s operations comply with applicable gambling regulations, AML and responsible gaming requirements, data protection standards, and internal compliance policies. The role supports regulatory readiness, player protection, and ethical business practices across all products and markets.
- Completion of real time/daily/weekly/ internal reports
- Completing referrals that have been highlighted by customer facing teams which trigger a concern
for a player
- Handling of escalated/complex queries and complaints as required to investigate and determine
the most appropriate action to take
- Working closely with Customer Services, CRM and VIP Teams
- Reviewing the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice
- Providing compliance advice internally on all regulatory Compliance matters
- Assisting the Compliance Manager with the day-to-day tasks
- Assist in the development and subsequent maintenance of the company compliance framework in
different jurisdictions
- Assist in preparation and submission of regulatory reports and returns.
- Conduct internal compliance audits and spot checks.
- Monitor license conditions, reporting deadlines, and ensure internal awareness.
- Support GDPR compliance and data protection measures
- Escalate and document potential breaches of compliance policy
- Reporting to the Compliance Manager
- Work and liaise with all internal office departments and external company offices.
- Work closely with Customer Services, CRM, VIP, RFP, Product & IT teams.
Skills, Experiences & qualities:
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Good analytical skills
- Able to work under pressure
- Demonstrate a professional attitude at all times
- Experience in the Compliance field.
- Experience in the iGaming industry would be an asset
but not essential.
- Exceptional command of verbal and written English.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications
- Minimum 1–2 years of compliance or risk
experience (preferably in regulated industries).
- Strong understanding of AML and Responsible
Gaming principles.
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Experience in the iGaming industry
- Knowledge of international gaming regulations
(AGCO, MGA, etc.).
- Understanding of data protection and information
security best practices(GDPR)
