The Role:
Do you wake up Monday morning excited to deliver the highest possible content quality to your readers? Are you motivated by continuously unlocking the potential of your team members? Do you enjoy leading by example, scaling, setting the pace, and being accountable for your market results?
Join us as our Managing Editor for one of our networks, winning with our growing team of four highly specialised content experts. Co-own the content journey of thousands of users across two key markets whilst growing your team and portfolio to cover 30+ team members and 10+ markets within the next three years.

Your Impact:

    • What you will positively impact during your first three months with us:
    • Your team members through gaining their buy-in and have them be excited to work with you
    • Our existing workflows, best practices, KPIs, and internal tools through suggesting improvements to these
    • The top 50 content pages in your network through quality improvement suggestions. These pages collectively drive over 70% of our organic traffic, so even minor improvements can greatly impact user satisfaction and revenue.
    • What you will drive during your first six months with us:
    • A world-class work environment where your team members thrive
    • Continuous quality and output improvements of the work of your team members
    • Impactful site-wide content quality uplifts in the markets you own
    • What you will win during your first 12 months with us:
    • A significant expansion of the size of your team to improve existing markets faster as well as expand into new markets
    • All the markets your team is active in exclusively have pages live meeting our best-in-class content quality best practices.

What You'll Bring:

    • We seek resourceful and kind self-starters who enjoy autonomy, a dynamic environment, and high accountability. You’ll thrive here if you’re always eager to learn, value constructive feedback, and are excited by big goals.
    • In terms of technical skills for the Managing Editor role, you ideally bring:
    • A track record of writing and editing high-quality content, boosting user engagement and organic traffic.
    • The ability to do the above whilst keeping SEO best practices.
    • A strong managerial toolkit, understanding how to best lead your team members to unlock the most of their potential.

The Interview:

    • 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (30 mins via Zoom)
    • 2nd: Interview with our team, Interviewer 1 and Interviewer 2 (1 hour video via Zoom)
    • 3rd: Take home task - you will be given 3 days to complete the task
    • 4th: Final interview with our team, Interviewer 1 and Interviewer 2 (1 hour video via Zoom)
