Where you Fit In:
As a Senior Technical Compliance Analyst, you will play an important role in ensuring Sportingtech’s technology and operations align with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. This role involves managing technical compliance requirements and processes, collaborating with internal teams to ensure that the platform meets the required regulatory specifications, and staying abreast of evolving regulations in the online gaming and betting industry.
The impact you will have:
- Analyse and interpret iGaming regulations and standards and communicate them efficiently to the respective teams
- Stay informed about changes in regulations and standards and suggest necessary changes as needed to ensure ongoing compliance
- Develop and maintain compliance documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports
- Support with the creation of guidance and training for internal teams on compliance requirements and best practices
- Work closely with delivery, development, security, and product teams to ensure technical solutions comply with regulations and support business goals
- Support during regulatory audits and inspections
- Support incident management team, align their processes to compliance and advise on specific incidents
- Support the change management team to align their processes with compliance requirements and ensure that all proposed changes to the platform, systems, or processes are reviewed from a compliance perspective
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Relevant certifications in compliance, risk management, or IT security are a plus
- Minimum of 5 years in a technical compliance role, working with gaming platforms or operators
- Strong understanding of online gaming platforms, technical systems, and infrastructure, with the ability to evaluate technical solutions for compliance
- Familiarity with risk management and auditing processes in regulated environments
- In-depth knowledge of global gaming regulations, including licensing and technical standards across various jurisdictions (e.g., MGA, GLI, and other regulatory bodies)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to assess complex technical issues and identify compliance risks and mitigation strategies in a timely manner
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing compliance-related tasks
