Job Description

The Revenue Accountant is responsible for accurate accounting, recognition, and
reporting revenues across our B2B online gaming operations. Working closely with
the Revenue Administrator and Revenue Associate, this role ensures that all revenue
transactions are properly accounted for under applicable accounting standards. The
Revenue Accountant provides financial insight, supports compliance with audit and
tax requirements, and contributes to improving revenue processes within a highly
regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with IFRS and company accounting policies.
• Review and reconcile monthly revenue reports against system data, invoices, and contracts.
• Prepare and post journal entries related to revenue, accruals, and deferrals.
• Maintain and reconcile revenue-related balance sheet accounts, including deferred income.
• Work with the Revenue Associate and Administrator to validate that contractual terms are correctly reflected in accounting records.
• Provide financial analysis on revenue trends, margins, and partner performance.
• Support external and internal audits by preparing required schedules and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with tax, VAT, and gaming regulatory requirements relating to revenue.
• Contribute to system improvements, automation, and best practices within revenue accounting.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent).
• 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, ideally within iGaming, SaaS, or another subscription-based / transactional industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS (especially IFRS 15 – Revenue from Contracts with Customers).
• Solid understanding of revenue cycles, billing, and contract management.
• Advanced Excel skills (financial models, reconciliations, reporting).
• Experience with ERP or financial systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines
