THE OPPORTUNITY: WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Reporting to the Head of Legal Operations, PressEnter Group requires a meticulous and proactive Legal and Compliance Assistant. You will play a crucial role in supporting our Legal team, ensuring the smooth management of the organizationβs legal affairs and upholding compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Legal Support:
- Take ownership of legal administration, including managing the Jira ticketing system.
- Manage the DocuSign process and coordinate contract signatures efficiently.
- Organize and maintain the legal team's email inbox, ensuring timely responses.
- Act as a key communication link between the legal department and the wider business, providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Assist in maintaining and organizing legal documents, contracts, and agreements, ensuring all are current and properly filed.
- Support the implementation of new legal administration procedures on Confluence.
- Assist in maintaining relationships with third-party providers.
- Help with the preparation of legal templates and other essential documentation.
- Provide ad-hoc support to the Head of Legal Operations and the wider legal team as required.
Compliance Support:
- Take ownership of compliance administration tasks.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining comprehensive compliance documentation, including the creation and upkeep of policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Support compliance audits and reviews by performing spot checks and gathering necessary information.
- Assist in supporting investigations and managing complaints, including investigating potential compliance breaches and responding to customer complaints related to compliance issues.
- Assist with and manage escalations related to transaction monitoring systems to identify suspicious activity, potential fraud, money laundering risks, and complex responsible gambling cases.
- Monitor and analyse regulatory updates, staying informed about changes in betting and gaming regulations and identifying potential impacts on the company.
- Provide ad-hoc support for compliance-related tasks.
