Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS for reporting on the US stock exchange
  • Liaising with external auditors to deliver financial statements, supporting schedules and resolving audit queries efficiently as they arise
  • Leading the reporting team to deliver materials in line with the strict Financial Timetable
  • Collaborating with technical accounting, corporate tax and legal teams
  • Presenting financial reports to the senior management team
  • Driving controls on accounting processes documentation and execution to meet SOX requirements
  • Review and improve the current reporting framework, driving system and process efficiencies.
  • Collaborating with colleagues in finance and other parts of the organisation to drive the finance transformation journey and support the business as it grows

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting / business or similar
  • Professional accounting qualifications + 5-10 years PQE
  • Experience working with or within a multinational, PLC group (in industry or in practice)
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Capable of working under own initiative and experience coaching team members
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office essential and experience in Oracle financial systems an advantage
  • A commitment to accuracy and attention to detail are essential for success in this role
