Job Overview: 
We are looking for a Social Media & Community Manager to drive brand awareness and community engagement across off platform channels like Discord. You will develop strategies to attract new users, manage community interactions, and drive engagement from off platform communities to on platform activities. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of social media trends, experience in community building, and a knack for encouraging meaningful interactions within a niche community.

How You Will Make an Impact

Social Media Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy focused on off platform channels (Discord, Reddit, etc.) to increase brand visibility and engagement.
  • Identify trending topics, relevant discussions, and opportunities to engage with communities aligned with our brand.

Community Management:

  • Actively manage and moderate the brand’s presence in Discord, Reddit, and other platforms to cultivate an engaged community and maintain a positive brand image.
  • Respond to community inquiries, manage discussions, and foster a friendly, safe, and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with customer support to address user issues and gather feedback for product improvement.

Drive Engagement & Growth:

  • Implement creative campaigns that encourage off platform communities to participate in on platform events and activities, boosting user retention and active engagement.
  • Plan and execute virtual events, challenges, and activations to strengthen the community, encourage interaction, and drive traffic to our platform.

Content Development:

  • Work with content and design teams to develop tailored, engaging content for each platform (Discord, Reddit, etc.) that aligns with brand voice and resonates with target audiences.
  • Develop content calendars, manage social media assets, and track content performance.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track and analyze community engagement metrics, campaign effectiveness, and overall growth.
  • Provide regular reports and actionable insights to optimize strategies and increase engagement.

Cross functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the growth, product, and analytics teams to align community goals and integrate on platform and off platform campaigns.
  • Gather insights from community interactions to inform product and marketing strategies.

What Will Make You The Perfect Candidate

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, community management, or related roles, preferably from igaming domain.
  • Platforms: Proven track record managing communities on Discord, Reddit, and other social platforms with a deep understanding of their cultures and best practices.
  • Content Creation: Strong skills in content creation, with experience tailoring messaging for different platforms.
  • Data Driven: Familiarity with social media analytics tools and the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen ability to engage audiences and build community trust.
  • Passion for Gaming: Knowledge and passion for iGaming, online communities, and staying on top of industry trends.
