Senior Project Manager

JOB OVERVIEW

Plan A Technologies is looking for a Senior Project Manager to work on a casino/iGaming project. This is an exciting job with room for significant career growth.  
Please note: you must have at least 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager.


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work as the primary point of contact and lead a distributed software development team of 15-20 FTEs


• Translate process requirements into concrete end-to-end project plans: define, document, and manage program goals, objectives, risks, issues, dependencies, and changes.


• Lead and negotiate with stakeholders to commit to and execute project plans.


• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, and team members to translate strategic vision into program scope and design, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes


• Monitor and report on project progress, performance, risks, and issues, escalating as necessary to ensure timely resolution.


• Facilitate joint planning with business partners. 


• Create metrics and manage project-level performance indicators and metrics.


• Serve as a subject matter expert on multiple complex technical topics.


• Mentor and coach junior staff members on project management methodologies


• Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the program management function.


• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or related field


• 10+ years experience in project management with increasing levels of responsibility - experience overseeing large multimillion-dollar projects with many stakeholders


• 5+ years of experience utilizing project management software, such as Atlassian’s Jira and Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello, or Basecamp


• 3+ years of experience in translating product ideas into low-level requirements for the dev team.


• 3+ years of experience in the casino gaming or iGaming domain. 


• Experience in managing cloud-based and on-prem-based solutions.


• Excellent communication skills — fluent in English (verbal and written)


• Ability to interface and communicate with clients, including top-level management and key stakeholders


• Extremely organized and stress-resistant.


• Experience managing and organizing several work streams with different priorities


• Experience allocating teams to complete projects within timeline, budget, and scope


• Experience creating, monitoring, and updating project plans


• Experience removing roadblocks and mitigating identified risks.


• Willingness and ability to make difficult, complex decisions


• Ability to maintain a positive work attitude


• PMP, CSM, CSPO, or other project management-appropriate certifications


• Demonstrated ability to provide innovative solutions to complex and critically sensitive issues affecting multiple disciplines and work groups


• Initiative and drive to do great things
