The Role: 


We’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join the Singular People team to partner with the International Technology business units.

The role is based in Sofia but you’ll be supporting colleagues across Singular offices in North Macedonia, Malta, Georgia. 


The HR Business Partner will fully partner with the leadership team of the function(s) they support, understanding the people challenges and opportunities through internal and external data sources, supporting the definition of business requirements and co-creating and executing solutions with leads and COEs. They will bring creative thinking to addressing the challenges and optimising the opportunities enabling the achievement of customer centric, commercial outcomes and agile ways of working.  


They will hold a deep understanding of the people processes we ask our managers to own, and will encourage management accountability, whilst coaching, guiding and supporting the manager to achieve high levels of employee experience. 


The HR Business Partner will deliver Singular HR projects that deliver the people roadmap and seek opportunity to develop employee experience within their function. 


This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both! We will kit you out to work from home but know that working as a team is what makes us great and spending quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned. 


 


Why we need you 


Reporting to the Senior HRBP, you’ll be a key part of the Technology People team.  This is a strategic HRBP role and as such, through developing a strong understanding of the Technology business unit’s you’re supporting, you’ll balance strategy and execution, solve problems by designing and applying creative solutions and ensure talent is retained through embedding a learning culture that supports career growth, plans business succession and delivers great employee experiences.  In Partnership with our Centre’s of Excellence, you’ll be responsible for delivering talent management, engagement, reward and recognition and employee relations.   In addition to this, we’ve got a number of exciting projects to get involved with directly supporting the growth of the business. 


  • Drive the evolution and prominence of the HRBP role within Singular by actively sharing skills, knowledge, and expertise and mentoring colleagues; 

  • Deliver Singular HR projects aligned with the people roadmap and seek opportunities to develop the employee experience within their function. Key Projects include: 

  • Organizational Design; 

  • Talent Mapping & Skills Matrix 

  • Performance Management 

  • Succession Planning 

  • Retention Strategies 

  • Policies & Procedures 

  • Disciplinaries 

  • Employee Relations 

  • Guide managers and employees on HR generalist matters, empowering managers to own their people responsibilities and supporting activities related to global mobility, talent & development, organization design, employee relations issues, and policy / procedural issues 

  • Identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience and influence areas of focus and investment through: 

  • Assessing the talent landscape, leveraging both internal and external data and insights 

  • Gaining insights and feedback through employee interactions, open forums, skip levels, roundtables and work with the leaders to address 

  • Reviewing engagement survey insights and key drivers of engagement and responds to trends accordingly 

  • Shares data and insights with leaders routinely 

  • Tap into the network of HRBPs and Head of Functions across the group to share ideas and facilitate a joined-up approach that improves our employee experience 

  • Define and create relevant local solutions that align to Hire to Retire key processed e.g developing and delivering local scalable onboarding process for new starters which guides their understanding of Flutter ways of working and helps them navigate our business, setting them up for success. 

  • Ensure talent retention through embedding a learning culture that supports career growth and business succession plans. 

  • Related duties as assigned. 




Who we’re looking for 

You’ll have experience at HR Business Partner level within a fast-paced global working environment with strong knowledge of local legislation, culture and industry with a forward focused approach to identifying and applying new ideas and best practice. A focus on proactively delivering high levels of client service is vital, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to have an impact and influence at all levels. Applying a collaborative and naturally supportive approach, you’ll always be listening to people’s needs and understanding what’s important to them. 

Your experience: 

  • Previous HR experience in a multi-national and global business 
  • Extensive local knowledge of employee relations 
  • Proven experience of delivering end to end people related projects 
  • Proven experience of problem solving 
  • Microsoft Office skills, including word, excel, PowerPoint to intermediate level
