About the client's company:
As part of our ongoing international expansion, we are opening new offices in Malta, a key step in strengthening our global presence within the gaming industry. We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their growing team and play a vital role in developing our financial operations from the ground up.
About the Role:
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Finance Manager will oversee the company's financial strategy. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
- Prepare and analyse management accounts, forecasts, and performance reports.
- Supervise and mentor a small finance team.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with management on strategic planning and business growth.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
- The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in finance, with at least 2 of those years spent in a managerial role.
- Experience in the gaming, fintech, or payments industry is preferred.
- Strong analytical and leadership skills.
- Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Xero, etc.)
