The Role:
Legend is hiring a Content Manager, reporting directly to our Senior Gaming Specialist.
As the Content Manager for our New Zealand iGaming sites, you’ll be defining the market strategy and planning for the New Zealand [NZ] market. Managing a small team to supporting our existing Content and SEO teams to deliver high-quality casino content.

Your Impact:

    • Build out the long term market strategy for NZ markets, including detailed content and product roadmaps and make sure those drive us to become the dominating sites in the NZ market.
    • Producing optimised content that engages our audiences and meets SEO best practices, using tools like Ahrefs, SemRush and SurferSEO to recommend ways we can optimise our content.
    • Coaching and nurturing a successful Content team to ensure deadlines are being met and content is to a high standard.
    • Use our data tools to analyze the performance of your portfolio and find opportunities of how we can improve.
    • Be accountable for the overall content performance and quality of your portfolio of sites. Plan strategic initiatives with your team and report progress on initiatives, quarterly goals, OKRs and KPIs to stakeholders.
    • Become the leader of the New Zealand market. Using your igaming knowledge to feed your team with insights based on data analytics and research, user and market knowledge to prioritize the right initiatives to drive growth and success.

What You'll Bring:

    • Experience working in the iGaming industry (casino focus), either on affiliate or operator side. You’ll have a deep understanding of core gaming user journeys, needs and preferences in an English-speaking market, ideally New Zealand.
    • Extensive experience in writing and proofing skills in English content, as well as an unrivalled eye for detail. Using CMS systems to upload and manage this content [such as Wordpress]
    • Hands-on experience with SEO from a previous role and experience using metrics to monitor/validate content success.
    • Experience of leading a team, or line management.
    • You champion building and improving digital gaming products which add value for players and you see the “bigger picture” of how Content, SEO, UX and product features work together to achieve this.
    • You have a data driven mindset and you can transfer your findings and learnings into actionable initiatives to optimize content and expand websites.
    • A team player mentality and want to help to upscale the Gaming knowledge amongst the wider business.
    • You are comfortable in taking the lead in your team, encourage communication and collaboration and present the team’s ideas, strategy and results to stakeholders.

    • 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (30 mins via Zoom)
    • 2nd: Interview with our team, Senior Content Editor and Country Manager (1 hour video via Zoom)
    • 3rd: Take home task
    • 4th: Final interview with our team, Senior Gaming Specialist and Head of Content (1 hour video via Zoom)
